We are writing this letter as a recommendation for Connie Meyerhoff of Baja Properties in San Jose Del Cabo, Mexico. When my husband and I decided to look for property in Mexico, everyone thought we were a little crazy, especially our families. Of course, having no experience ourselves, we were a bit nervous too. We started researching a little bit and talking to some real estate agents via e-mail and phone calls. I did not feel comfortable with any of these people.
They didn't know what they were talking about and were pressuring us to buy if they were going to spend time showing us around. I would not have bought from any of these people. We decided to take a spur of the moment trip to San Jose and were walking the quaint downtown streets when we saw Baja Properties office. We decided to walk in and were immediately greeted by Connie. After asking every question known to man and picking her brain to death, we knew we had found the right person. Not only is Connie an extremely professional and knowledgeable real estate agent, she is a wonderful person. She was so patient with us, didn't pressure us to buy and made it very clear that she wanted us to be comfortable and happy with whatever we decided to do.
She knows her stuff and makes sure that everything is done exactly as it should be. She has gone way above and beyond the call of duty for us and we would recommend her to anyone and everyone. We not only consider her our real estate agent, but also a friend. Everyone will try to talk you out of buying in Mexico, saying how scary it is and how you will get ripped off or the government will take your land away. Don't listen, it's just not true. It's not scary here at all, it's actually quite wonderful! We have now bought a piece of land and a condominium and couldn't be happier.
