After graduating from University of Illinois Champaign Urbana I began my Corporate Career with Moore North America in Project Management and Product Development. My 10 year career transfered me often. I lived in 5 states in 8 years. I lived in practically every major US city to be exact, Dallas, New York, San Francisco, Las Vegas and Chicago. My career required extensive travel. I traveled 65 to 90% for over 6 years and felt like my life belonged to the company and Amercian Airlines Admirals Club.
How did I get to Cabo? My Sister and her Ex-husband were in the hotel business in Asia. After 6 years she wanted to be closer to home to start her family. Cabo as the fastest growing Mexican Resort Destination and only a 4.5 hour flight from Chicago was the perfect place to receive a promotion and to live in a New Found Paradise. I would find myself escaping frequently on the weekends just to take 2 days to lie in the sunshine and relax before getting on the plane to see my next client. It took me 2 years and plenty of stress to realize I didn´t want to work for Corporate America any longer and to take the plunge into happiness.
My new life started 9 years ago when I moved to Cabo and opened a jewelry store with my sister. Silver Exposure is still thriving thanks to our loyal clientele and great designers. Since then I now have a loving husband and 2 beautiful baby girls. Yes we are very busy.
So where does Real Estate fit into the picture? It all started with our return clients from the jewelry store who had been coming to Cabo for years asking about homes and condos wanting to buy their vacation home or preparing for upcoming retirement. After referring 5 of my clients in one month to another agent here in Cabo it dawned on my to start my career in Real Estate. I have passion to find the best the budget can afford while negotiating harder and to making sure all details are documented in the sales process to effectively protect my clients.
My Sister Jodie now does the jewelry store full time which allows me to focus on my clients so they can appreciate their new life in Cabo as much as I love mine.
